Birth and Postpartum Doula in San Francisco.

I am Janice, she/her (pronounced Jah-neice). I am born and raised in San Francisco, and currently serving the SF community. I became a Birth worker out of the love and need for advocates in this space. I got my training at Natural Resources and Carriage House Birth. I use my Mexican roots as the foundation of my care and I am fluent in Spanish and English.

Seeing my mother give birth to my little sister at a young age made me deeply appreciate the creation of life and the family bond it creates. I then went into child care as a nanny and caretaker and loved the rewarding human connections I would get with families. As a Postpartum and Birth Doula, I brings a loving, empathic and non judgmental support for growing families. I aim to give a Birthing person and family the confidence they can carry for the rest of their lives together. I believe all families deserve to be heard, supported, cared for during the birth and postpartum period.
